About Rome Startup Week
The Rome Startup Week is an event born in 2017 from the ambition of Roma Startup to create a showcase and promote the debate around innovation and new entrepreneurship. The objective is to bring together all the operators involved in the development of the venture business field in Rome and Italy to enhance existing initiatives and build new opportunities for the territory and the country. The 2017 and 2018 editions managed to attract a progressive audience of Italian and international professionals of the startup world, reflecting the growing demand for specific discussions on new technologies and innovative companies. Location After the launch in the former Mattatoio (Faculty of Architecture of the Roma Tre University in the Testaccio district), and the growth in the former GIL (WeGil Building in the Trastevere district), the Rome Startup Week 2019 invades a new urban space open to citizens: former ATAC deposit Vittoria, today renamed Prati Bus District, Viale Angelico, 52, 00195 Rome, Italy. About Prati Bus District Inaugurated by the Rome mayor, Virginia Raggi, on 26 November 2018, this project was conceived and implemented by Urban Value, a division of Ninetynine agency, established in 2015 with the specific objective of creating value through the temporary regeneration of disused buildings.
